An easy and fun quilt that uses 2 1/2" strips. Dig out your Jelly Roll® or Bali Pop® or 40 strips from your stash - or treat yourself to a new strip set. This quilt is special with two different backgrounds, and creates "lite" and "darker" squares for a checker board effect. Finishes at 72" b 84" as presented, but once you understand the block you can create your quilt almost any size. Pattern has been tested by my students in my IMPROV class, and they all enjoyed creating their quilt using these directions.
